1. Introduction
By engaging our services, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below. Please carefully review these terms before proceeding with any service request.
2. Service Requests and Down Payment
2.1 Before commencing any repair work, a non-refundable down payment of 50% of the estimated cost must be paid.
2.2 The down payment secures your position in our repair queue and covers initial diagnostics and assessment.
2.3 No repair work will commence until the down payment is received.
3. Repair Process
3.1 Customers are advised to allow reasonable time for any ordered parts to be shipped to our facility.
3.2 Once parts are received, repairs will be carried out in a timely manner.
3.3 Customers must secure a temporary replacement (borrowed or rented equipment) during the repair period to avoid rushing the process.
3.4 CDELabs will communicate any unforeseen delays or issues affecting the repair timeline.
4. Abandoned Equipment
4.1 Any equipment left in our possession longer than three months after the repair is completed will become the property of CDELabs.
4.2 CDELabs will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer before taking ownership of the equipment.
5. Payments
5.1 Payments can be made in cash or via online bank transfer.
5.2 For online bank transfers, customers must provide a screenshot or proof of payment.
5.3 Full payment, including any outstanding balances, must be settled upon completion of the repair.
6. Services Not Offered
6.1 CDELabs does not offer data recovery services.
6.2 CDELabs does not deal with the servicing or repair of devices bricked by failed firmware updates or physical damage.
6.3 We do not service computers/laptops, printers/scanners, or phones.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 A 50% refund may be considered in special cases, including:
a. Demonstrable failure to repair the equipment within an agreed-upon timeframe.
b. Evidence of significant issues arising directly from the repair work performed by CDELabs.
c. Any other case deemed exceptional by CDELabs management.
7.2 Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the completion of the repair.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 CDELabs is not liable for any pre-existing issues or damages discovered during the repair process.
8.2 Customers are advised to back up any data on their equipment before submitting it for repair, as CDELabs is not responsible for data loss.
9. Governing Law
9.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
9.2 Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be resolved through negotiation or mediation before pursuing legal action.
